Man City news: Club CEO Ferran Soriano has said it is too late to negotiate a sale of Bernardo Silva amid interest from Barcelona.
Silva has attracted transfer interest from FC Barcelona, with the Catalan outfit keen to secure the services of the highly-rated Portuguese international. Barcelona had also shown interest in Silva last summer, but a move never materialized.
Man City does not want to lose Silva, particularly at this stage with less than two weeks remaining before the transfer window closes. The defending Premier League champions are also standing firm on their valuation of Silva. City valued the player at €100m at the start of the summer.
Silva has also vowed to give his all to Man City this season, seemingly putting an end to the uncertainty surrounding his future. The Athletic have also reported that Silva is ready to commit his immediate future to the Manchester outfit.
